Taking the best features of the highly successful model 633 and listening to customer requests, and adding technical innovation, you have the finest top handle saw on the market! Displacement is increased to 40cc's - delivering more power. A three-shoe pro clutch is standard for maximum power transmission to the chain. The chain brake handle area is enlarged to permit increased mobility for larger, gloved hands. Guards and a new on/off switch prevent inadvertent shut-down. Design incorporates features demanded by arborists, "bucket" sawyers, orchardists, those involved in high intensity trimming / pruning and others who need the special characteristics of a top handle saw. Top handle is designed so that the saw balance point is directly under the throttle handle. In addition to safety interlock, the throttle handle has a "thumb" rest for additional control. A low profile chain brake / hand guard, a high angle hand grip, and low profile horizontal engine, allow cutting in tough-to-reach locations. Includes standard features found on other Solo saws and a built-in "eye" for attaching a safety clip or drop line. 3.7lbs w/o bar and chain, 14" bar and chain.
